I have known Denise for over 30 years - first as a friend and fellow fitness instructor, and more recently as a celebrant. She has always been polite, professional, and quietly efficient.

When I sadly lost my dad in November, even though Denise now lives in Spain, she was the first person I thought of to lead the service at Fradley Crematorium in the UK. I knew she would be exceptional, and of course she delivered far more than I could ever have expected, just as she consistently does for others.

It was truly comforting to have Denise’s support before, during, and after the service. She took the time to learn about my dad, and she guided us with such care, especially as we prepared to speak at the funeral, including my 15-year-old daughter, whom she supported so thoughtfully.

It’s the little details that make all the difference, and Denise helped with everything - from liaising with the funeral directors to honouring our request to wear “a hint of pink.” Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made an incredibly difficult day a little easier, and I am deeply grateful.

KIND WORDS

When my husand, Patrick, died quite suddenly I was devastated and planning his funeral was so difficult. Denise listened, never rushed me or my children, liaised with the undertaker and the crematorium as well as making last minute changes to music.

Patrick had served in the Staffordshire Regiment, his mates were the pall bearers and Denise wrote his career into his story - the guys were overwhelmed at how she bought him back to life for those few moments.

Denise made sure that me, my children and their grandparents were OK from the moment we booked her and in the weeks and months after. We never expected that from a Celebrant and are so grateful.

Sara and I were in absolute shock when our mum died suddenly. We hoped that the undertaker would guide us through the process as we were useless but we were left floundering.

I’d met Denise at network meetings and with less than a week before the funeral was due to take place Denise stepped in, guided us through the funeral process, liaised with the undertaker, florist, printer and crematorium.

We changed things last minute, had last miniute meeetings at the Crematorium to check out music and Denise was with us all the way. Even days and weeks afterwards she checked in on us. From the moment we met her at our home we knew we were in good hands and that the service we were planning for our mum was going to be amazing. One that would make her proud. And it was.

We can’t thank you enough Denise.
